Google is urging Gmail clients to change their passwords after a database with client data was exposed online by hackers.
Hackers revealed about 5 million Gmail account details and passwords on Bit coin Security – a well known Russian site gave to cryptocurrency.
The individual who released the points of interest said the record holders were English, Spanish and Russian – with 60 percent of those records still active.
Google is warning affected clients to make moves to further ensure their Gmail accounts, for example, making a stronger password and utilizing an additional security feature called two-step authentication.
