Scott W. Rothstein is another Ponzi sceme guy who looted $1.2 billion with his frauds and scams. Scott was the owner of a reputed law firm which had it's branches around 10 towns in America. He posed himself as a philanthropic and a legitimate attorney who had influence in those towns and with the government officials; this gave him a profilic-face for investment scams.

He extracted money from the investors by taking high bounty cases and later scammed them. He was later exposed of his scheme when new investors stopped their investments on his firm. In the year 2009, he was convicted and was sentenced to 50 years of imprisonment; he even revealed about his partners in crime by signing cooperation treaty with the FBI.
