Received a call from 818-475-2001. Person named Clair said my resume was passed on to them and there was a potential job for me. I asked them who gave my name and mobile # to them and at first, she said some name like Paul but then later when I asked again, she said "the office". I asked which office, which company, etc. She said something about Camarillo. I asked for the name of her company and whether they are head hunters. She said Bankers and they have been established for 100 years in the insurance business. Targeting the senior market. I told her I was not looking for work in the insurance business and I have no experience that is related. She kept asking me to identify which city I lived in. After I said repeatedly this must be a mistake, she apologized and hung up. I Googled the number she called from and found this on Yelp. Apparently, many others have complained about similar situations. I am not sure how she got my name and #.

The only connection I could think of where I recently submitted a job application is to the Fosun Group - but it wasn't for insurance work. However, I found this article about the Fosun Group.
