Miguel Karam Bencatel Canhao is a thief and fraudster who stole my cryptocurrency. He uses his charisma and charm to gain the trust of the people he meets with the purpose of stealing from them later. Miguel offered to buy a souvenir for me at a store called Profighters in Sogo Plaza, in the Liberdade neighborhood, in São Paulo. He initially attempted to make the purchase using my Chase Visa card, but the transaction failed because the bank believed it to be fraud. Miguel then suggested paying with bitcoin and I agreed. After purchasing the sword, Miguel charged me additional amounts, once for shipping and then for a customs fine. However, the sword never arrived at my address. Miguel continued to contact me daily, discussing cryptocurrency investments and recommending a new coin called “gram”. The purpose of this was to make me see a lot of coins coming into my account, but I didn't know how to withdraw them. Miguel said he needed remote access to my computer to transfer the gram coins to etherium. Miguel Karam used AnyDesk to access my computer. He then transferred the cryptocurrency from my Coinbase account to his own wallet and ultimately to Binance. About a week later, Miguel blocked me on all social media channels and WhatsApp.
