Letter 1

Hello, stranger. I’m sure that when you first saw my photo, you opened my letter right after ?. Honestly, I didn’t expect to hear from you so soon! It was such a pleasant surprise. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Bella Ray, and I’m 31 years old. Despite my age, I’ve never been married and I’m still looking for that special someone. By nature, I’m kind and empathetic ?.
You might be surprised to know that I’m currently in Russia. I was born in Kazakhstan and lived there until I was 16. Then, I moved to Russia with my family to pursue my studies because everyone said education there would open more doors. So, I’ve been living in Russia ever since.
I joined a dating agency in hopes of finding someone, and it led me to you. After I graduated in 2013, I spent some time in Huron, USA, where I worked as a waitress and improved my English. It was a magical experience, and I learned so much about your country during my four months there. Although I had to return home, I still dream of coming back and maybe even staying permanently.
Now, I live and work in Tula, although I was born in a small town. My mother and sister still live there, and I try to visit them whenever I can. I have a good job, wonderful friends, and plenty of hobbies, so I’m far from wasting time. But I do miss my time in the USA, surrounded by friendly people and beautiful places I had only ever seen on TV. Those memories hold a special place in my heart.
What I’m truly looking for is a strong, loving relationship. I believe that age and nationality are not important; it’s what’s in the heart and mind that matters most. I’m searching for a man who will be both my best friend and my loyal partner, someone I can dedicate my life to and love deeply. Maybe you’re the one I’m looking for—who knows?
I know you might wonder why I’m looking for love online. There are many reasons, but one thing I’ve realized is that life can get so caught up in the rush of daily needs and challenges that we forget to focus on the present moment. We think so much about the future that we sometimes forget to live right now.

Hello Richard! You answered me and truly made my day! It feels like our first real conversation, doesn’t it? In some ways, it’s much easier to write because here, I can really be myself ?. Thank you for sharing your photos—you look great! I especially love your eyes, they’re so striking!
I’m writing to you from work right now, as I don’t have internet access at home. My friend Elena and I are renting an apartment, and unfortunately, our place doesn’t have internet. So please don’t be upset if I can’t reply right away ?.
I’d love to get to know you better, and of course, I’ll share more about myself as well. I’ve been living in Tula for 10 years now, and I’ve become accustomed to the hustle and bustle of this large city. It’s easy to find on a map of Russia—it’s the capital of the Tula region. There are plenty of places to visit here, like museums, parks, restaurants, and cinemas. But at the same time, it’s a very busy city where everyone seems to be in a rush, and people often don’t pay attention to each other. It’s hard to meet new people just walking down the street ?.
Despite the great distance between us, it’s wonderful that we can still communicate like this! I’ll try to find your city on the map and learn more about it. Elena and I share the apartment, which helps us save some money. I also have a cat named Markul, and I hope you like the picture of him I sent ?.
My mom lives about 25 minutes away from me, with my sister. I visit them when I can, although not as often as I’d like since I don’t have a car. I usually travel by bus or train, but sometimes my sister picks me up in her car. We picked it out together, so she never refuses to give me a ride ?.
My father passed away when I was very young, so I don’t remember much about him. My mom often says that I’m very much like him, and that we have similar personalities. I have other relatives, but we’re not very close.
