Today, I finished work earlier than usual because we have a holiday here in our country. It’s a day to celebrate love, devotion, and family. These moments can make me feel quite lonely, though. My best friend Elena already has a husband and two children, and we’re the same age! I love children, but I’m not in a rush. It’s not about being afraid of responsibility; I just want to feel strong enough for it, and I want my children to have a real father. I won’t repeat my own childhood, but enough about that for now.
By the way, I haven’t told you much about my job yet. I work as an administrator in a beauty salon. It’s not always easy working long hours, but I love my job. I enjoy interacting with new people, and it’s so rewarding when our clients leave looking beautiful and happy. On particularly busy days, I work late and chat with the girls at the salon ?. But sometimes, I do feel exhausted. I have to smile even when I want to cry and stay polite, even if the visitors are difficult or irritable. I always try to look my best—fashionable clothes, beautiful hair, and makeup. I make an effort to care for myself and feel like a queen, no matter the situation. I also go to the gym 3-4 times a week, which keeps me feeling energized throughout the week.
I used to dream of taking time off to travel abroad and have fun, but I never had the chance. I graduated from Tula Social and Economic Institute, but I ended up working in the beauty industry because I enjoyed it more. I also studied English, but I couldn’t find a job that was related to my degree. Most of the opportunities were either monotonous or didn’t offer a good salary. But I’m not complaining—I’m building my own path.

It really makes me happy to hear such kind words from a nice man. Thank you again! God bless your mom—I’m so glad she’s been able to live to such a great age, and I wish her only the best!
I love the way you talk about starting and ending your day—it’s so thoughtful. Today, I was thinking a lot about you. I’m so happy I met you! My phone isn’t working again. It’s a Chinese knockoff of an iPhone, and it’s broken twice from falling. I bought it because it was cheap, but I’ve spent more money fixing it than it’s worth. Now I’m not going to spend any more money on it. Maybe I’ll give it to my goddaughter, since she loves playing with it—though I’m not mad at her for breaking it, after all, how could you be mad at a child?
I hope everything is going well with you today. I wanted to ask if you’ve ever communicated online before? Do you have experience with it? I’ve tried a few times before, but it didn’t work out. It wasn’t that the people were bad, we just didn’t understand each other. That’s the most important thing in any relationship, right?
What qualities are most important to you in a girl? Hello, my friend Richard! How’s everything going in your life today? What’s new with you? I have never received such graceful compliments from a man, and I’m truly flattered. They’ve made my evening!
It would be amazing to dance a slow dance with you, to feel your strong embrace and just enjoy being close to each other... you really make me dream! You’re right, money can’t buy love—it’s priceless.
You know, Richard, our letters bring a special meaning to my life. Now, my days aren’t just the same old routine. I look forward to the evening, knowing I’ll get your letter and read your sweet words. It makes everything feel more exciting, and that’s wonderful!
As I mentioned before, I have a higher education and passed the state exams in English. But it’s been so many years since I practiced, and I feel like I’m losing my English skills without regular use. In my town, I hardly get a chance to speak English, and I’ve only encountered English-speaking people twice in the past three years. So please don’t mind any mistakes in my writing—I’m doing my best!
Today, I had a day off. I usually wake up early, even if I don’t have to work, around 7 a.m. I did some cleaning and helped Elena in the kitchen. She’s a great cook, but she doesn’t like anyone trying to take over in the kitchen! It was a bit difficult, but I told her that she’s the head chef and I’m just here to follow orders ?. After that, I had the whole afternoon to myself, which was wonderful!
I’m curious, what do you like to do when you have free time? Do you have any hobbies? Do you enjoy traveling? It might sound strange, but I’m not really fond of shopping, unlike most women. I don’t like tempting myself with things I can’t afford! I usually have two days off each week. Sometimes, I help Elena look after her children. I’m not sure how good I am as a babysitter, but I’m the godmother of her youngest kids, and I enjoy spending time with them. Today, I took them to the park, we had ice cream, and watched pigeons for hours. It was a simple, relaxing day, but by evening, I was exhausted.
