Letter 1

Hello, my dear friend Richard!!! How are you today? What’s new in your life? I have never received such graceful compliments from a man before. I’m truly flattered, and your kind words lift my spirits for the entire evening! You’ve got me fantasizing about dancing a slow dance with you, feeling your strong embrace, and snuggling close. Mmmmm… You really know how to make a girl dream!
You’re absolutely right, money can never buy love. Love is priceless. You know, Richard, our correspondence has brought a special meaning to my life. Now, every day isn’t just another routine. I’m eagerly waiting for the evening, eagerly waiting for your letters and the warm words you send. And that’s such a wonderful feeling! I’m not even sure what it is yet, but I find myself looking forward to your messages every day. It’s such a joy to connect with you.
I’ve also mentioned before that I have a higher education and passed my state exams in English, but it’s been many years since then. Without practice, it feels like I’m losing my English skills, especially in our town where I rarely encounter English speakers. In the past three years, I’ve only met two English-speaking people and no one who speaks French. So, please don’t mind my mistakes and know that I’m doing my best to communicate in English ?
Today, I had a day off. I’m used to waking up early, so even when I don’t have to work, I’m up by 7 a.m. I spent the day doing some cleaning and helping Elena in the kitchen. She’s an excellent cook, but she can’t stand anyone else trying to give advice or do things her way. It’s hard work to keep up with her in the kitchen, but I told her she’s the head chef, and I’m here to follow her orders ? After that, she allowed me to help with some simple tasks, which was nice.
In the afternoon, I had the whole day to myself, and it was wonderful! What do you like to do when you have free time? Do you have any hobbies? Do you like to travel? It may seem strange, but unlike most women, I don’t enjoy shopping. I don’t like teasing myself with things I want but can’t afford. On my days off, I usually have two days to myself, just like in a normal work schedule. Sometimes, I help my friend with her children. I’m not sure how good I am as a babysitter, but I am the godmother of her youngest child, and I try not to refuse when she asks for my help.
Today, I took her kids to the park, we ate ice cream, and watched the pigeons for hours. I didn’t do any hard work, but by the evening, I felt completely exhausted. So, I’m very sleepy tonight and I’m saying goodnight to you, my friend. Sending you a big hello from Russia. Please send me some new photos when you can. Take care of yourself, and goodbye for now.

Hello, it’s me again! I’m so happy to hear from you! I really enjoy our correspondence; it feels like I’m reading a love story ? You always manage to give me such lovely compliments, and I think that gestures of attention will always be attractive to any woman. If you’re also a romantic at heart, you can charm any woman :) I’m really pleased that you feel an interest in me and that you see me as someone special.
I truly believe that dreams come true! In Russia, we have an expression (I’m not sure if I can translate it perfectly, but I’ll try my best): "The distance between people is like fire and wind; the real fire will burn even stronger because of the wind, but a small light will be extinguished by it." I hope you understand what I’m trying to say.
You could say that we don’t have a relationship yet, and you’d be right. But on the other hand, you’ve already become a part of my life. You’ve found a place in my thoughts and in my heart. It’s hard for me to imagine a day without you now. The most important thing is that I enjoy our conversations. I feel so comfortable talking with you, and I never imagined having a relationship like this. It’s like we’re blind right now — no matter how many pictures I send, you still don’t know me in real life. I’m afraid that we might disappoint each other, but who knows? Life is full of surprises, and we just have to seize every opportunity.
I really believe it’s better to regret the things you’ve done than to regret not trying at all. I hope you don’t find it strange that I write to you every day. I just enjoy reading your replies, and it would make me so sad if one day you stopped writing. Now I know I’ve found a friend in you, and I truly appreciate that.
