Letter 1

Hello Dale,
How are you today? What have you been up to? Every time I reflect on the challenges we face in life, I realize that we must keep moving forward, never giving up, and always keeping our heads held high.
As I’ve mentioned before, my parents left us early, and I don’t have any siblings, but I still cherish each day and life in general. I’m very fortunate to have wonderful neighbors. Dima and Vika have two children: an older son, Andrew, and a younger daughter, Nadya.
Andrew is 17 years old and this year he’s finishing school. He plans to enter university and pursue a career in medicine, saying he wants to become a doctor and help others.
Nadya is 4 years old and attends kindergarten. She has a deep love for horses and dreams of owning a big, beautiful one someday. She’s such a sweet and kind little girl.
My neighbors are animal lovers and even have a small pet lizard. I don’t have any pets myself, but I often feed their cat when it visits me. I enjoy nature, especially in the summer when everything is so colorful and fragrant.
A friend of mine encouraged me to try a dating site, which is how we connected. I’d love to hear about your friends as well. I look forward to your next letter!

Hello Dale,
I’m so happy to receive your letter, and I’m thrilled to be your pen-friend. I hope that, for you, I’m more than just a friend. The weather has finally warmed up, and it feels so good. My mood lifts every time the sun shines and I get a message from you. Yesterday, I went to the theater with a friend, and I told her about you. She’s really happy that you’re a part of my life and sends her regards to you.
I’d love to hear your voice and talk to you about everything! Unfortunately, I can only make calls within Russia right now and can’t receive international calls. But I’m planning to get an international SIM card soon and will share my number with you then.
Please send me your phone number along with your country code and instructions on how to call you.
Also, I’d love to know what foods you like! Do you enjoy cooking? I’m thinking of making a special dish for you. My favorite is baked turkey. What about you?
I enjoy eating delicious food but try to stay fit and take care of myself. It’s been so nice sharing my thoughts and feelings with you.
