When I was a child, my mother used to call me “Daria,” and I’d love for you to call me that too—it would mean a lot to me.
Sadly, my parents passed away when I was very young, and I went to live with my grandmother. It wasn’t easy, but I had to grow up quickly and learn to handle everything on my own. I haven’t felt this happy in a long time. Spending time getting to know you has really lifted my spirits.
I wanted to tell you a little more about my life. I’ve mentioned my parents before, but I feel like I should share a bit more about my past, as it might help you understand why I’ve never been married. My ex-husband had a serious drinking problem, and he became abusive. Because of that, I’ve been very cautious about relationships, especially with Ukrainian men, as they haven’t always treated women with the respect they deserve. That’s why I decided to reach out to someone from another country—I believe you might be different.

Hello, Dale. How are you today?
What have you been up to?
I often think about the challenges we face in life, and I believe we should never give up and should always carry ourselves with pride.
As I’ve shared before, I lost my parents early, and I don’t have any siblings, but I still enjoy my life and make the best of it. I’m very lucky to have wonderful neighbors, Dima and Vika, who have two kids—Andrew, who is 17 and finishing school this year, and Nadya, who is four years old and loves horses. They’re a sweet family, and I enjoy spending time with them.
Although I don’t have a pet of my own, I often take care of their cat, which is a lovely companion. I’m also a big fan of nature, especially in the summer when everything is blooming and full of color and fragrance.
A friend of mine encouraged me to try meeting someone through a dating site, so here I am! I’d love to hear about your friends and the people close to you.

The weather has warmed up recently, and it’s been so nice. The sun makes everything feel brighter, and receiving a letter from you always lifts my mood.
