I posted a personal ad on Craig's List in Boston, and I received a very nice e-mail from the above Susan. As we began to correspond, she began to profess her undying love for me, which I became suspicious of. Yesterday, she announced she wanted to come to Boston to be with me, and marry me. She neded $1800. to fly from Lagos. Being suspicious, I said that I could not pay that (which I can't and wouldn't) and suggested she pay half. She agreed, and gave me the name of a Nigerian travel agency to wire the money to. She said they don't accept e-tickets; I had suggested i could look for a cheaper flight here in Boston. She says she's half English/Half-American, and her initial e-mails were very sincere. But I am not naive; hence my report.
