Hey Rick,
How are you doing? Today, something unpleasant happened to me on my way to work. I was riding the trolleybus when a man came up to me and insulted me. It hurt so much, and I ended up crying. Why do people act this way?
I tried to shake it off and focused on getting to work. When I finally arrived and saw your letter, it really brightened my day. I’m so happy that you responded. It’s a pleasure getting to know you better, and I enjoy our communication. You seem like such a kind and interesting person, and I hope we can keep in touch.
Lately, the atmosphere in the city feels tense. People seem irritated and closed off, and I wonder if it’s because of the ongoing situation with the war. I don’t understand much about politics, but there have been explosions in the Khmelnitsky region recently, and it makes me very scared. I don’t have anyone to protect or support me here.
I’m afraid, and I don’t want to talk too much about the war because I don’t want to worry you. I’d rather focus on the positive, like our growing connection.
In my last letter, I told you about my love for cooking. I also enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and skating. What about you? What are your hobbies?

Hi Rick,
I’m so happy to receive your letter! It really made my day.
I’d love to share a bit about my daily routine with you. I work five days a week, with Sundays off. Sometimes I have to work on weekends too. My day starts at 6:30 AM, I get up, wash up, and have breakfast. By 7:15, I leave for work, and my commute takes about 30 minutes. From the bus stop to the office, it’s only a 5-minute walk.
I start work at 8 AM and take a lunch break from 1 PM to 2 PM. I finish my work at 6 PM and usually get home around 7 PM. Sometimes it takes a while for the trolleybus to arrive, especially in winter, so I end up getting home later than expected.
On weekends, I like to relax at home, clean, and cook.
I also wanted to share something personal with you. I feel like we are getting closer, and I hope you feel the same way. My ex-boyfriend constantly stalks me. I left him because he was unfaithful and abusive, and now he shows up at my door, often drunk and disturbing my peace. I’ve called the police, but it hasn’t helped.
It’s hard, but I believe that I’ll find real love, a relationship full of tenderness and happiness.
I’ve only been corresponding with you, and I look forward to every letter.

Hello my dear Rick,
I always look forward to your letters, and I’m so happy that you write to me. I understand everything you say, but I worry that my grammar might not be perfect. I hope you can still understand me. Every time I receive a letter from you, I feel so happy and cheerful.
Today, work is very busy, and I have a lot to do, so I won’t be able to write a long letter today. I hope you understand!
After work, my friend and I are going to the ice rink to skate. I love skating! It’s one of my favorite hobbies, and I go every week. It’s so much fun! Do you know how to skate? I’d love to teach you if you don’t!
I really enjoy writing to you. It’s amazing that we’ve found each other even though we’re thousands of miles apart.
I often dream about us walking together in a park under the stars, sitting by a fire, sharing stories, and laughing. It’s a beautiful thought.

Good afternoon, Rick!
I want to tell you about my morning. I woke up in a great mood today. I went to bed early last night and slept well. How is your day going?
I’m feeling very romantic today, and I’ve been thinking about our communication. Do you have many friends? I think friends are very important in life because they support you during tough times.
I have one close friend, and I really trust her. She came to visit me today, and we had a lovely time together. We drank tea with honey cake and talked for hours. I even told her that I met you, and she was genuinely happy for me.
Something indescribable is happening in my heart when I think of you. Your letters make me feel alive and full of positive energy. I’m in a great mood at work because of you, and a smile is always on my face.
