Letter 1

Hi Stewart,
Today is such a wonderful day, and I’m in great spirits! How about you? I hope everything is going well. Yesterday wasn’t the best day for me. It rained all day, and as I’ve mentioned before, I live in my own house. It's very cozy and beautiful, but it’s also quite old. The plumbing and heating systems are outdated, which caused some problems. I was disappointed when, due to the bad weather, the pipes failed. Now I have no drinking water, I can’t cook or wash, and my house has gotten very cold. I couldn’t even sleep because of it!
I called a specialist to fix the pipes, but unfortunately, it’s clear that the entire system needs to be replaced. I’ve decided I need to take care of this as soon as possible. Thankfully, my friend Marina has promised to help me. She’s always been there for me, and I’m so lucky to have her. We spend a lot of time together. By the way, I’ve told her about you, and she’s really happy that we’re writing to each other. She believes I need a man who will be there for me and truly love me.
You know, I often feel very lonely, but I have faith in better days ahead. I believe in God, and I know He always helps me. I don’t know if I’ve told you this already, but I have a dog named Buddy. He’s a 2-year-old boy, and he’s very handsome. I love playing with him, feeding him, and just taking care of him. He’s very affectionate and loves me too. Every evening, he greets me by the house, and I can’t help but smile when I see him.
I know it might sound silly, but Buddy makes me feel like someone is always waiting for me at home, even if it’s just my dog. I’ve heard that if someone takes good care of a pet, it means they’re a good caretaker in general. I believe that’s true. Marina also has a dog, and our dogs enjoy playing together—though sometimes they fight! I apologize if I’m talking too much about my dog, but he’s a very important part of my life, and I wanted to share that with you.
Last weekend, I went to the cinema with Marina. We watched Atomic Blonde, a fun American movie, and we both really enjoyed it. After the movie, I made one of my favorite dishes—pierogi with gooseberry jam. It was delicious, and I wish I could share it with you.
This week, I’ll be preparing for the pipe repairs and looking for people to help with the work. I can already imagine how cozy and nice my house will be once everything is fixed. I know it’s a bit of a sad letter, but I wanted to share my thoughts with you, and I hope you’re interested in hearing about them.

Hi my dear Stewart,
Thank you so much for your letter! It truly brightens my day, and I hope you feel the same when you receive mine. I’m really enjoying our correspondence and I want you to know that I’m serious about getting to know you. I consider you to be my friend, and it feels easy to talk to you about many things. I think trust and open communication are very important in any relationship, and I’m glad we have that.
I’d love to know more about you, especially your thoughts on relationships. What qualities do you appreciate most in people? For me, honesty, faithfulness, kindness, sincerity, and understanding are the most important traits. I also believe that trust plays a vital role in a relationship—it’s essential for both partners to trust each other completely. If there’s ever a problem, they should work together to find a solution.

Hi my dear Stewart,
Thank you so much for your kind words and care. You’re truly sweet to me, and I can’t express how much I enjoy reading your letters. When I close my eyes, I can almost feel you saying those words to me, and it brings me so much joy. Even though we’re far apart in reality, in my dreams, we’re together—walking hand in hand in a beautiful place, sharing tender and warm words.
I feel that you’re very special to me, and I need your letters like I need air to breathe. I couldn’t have imagined feeling this way before. Thank you for being such an important part of my life.
Stewart, I don’t think outer beauty is the most important thing. Beauty fades with time, and eventually, other people may look better. But the real beauty comes from within, from the soul, and that’s what lasts forever. I believe a person should be beautiful on the inside, don’t you agree?
I see in you someone I can easily talk to, someone who interests me deeply. I want to get to know your soul and everything about you. From your letters, I can tell you’re not playing games or joking around—you seem genuine, and I feel we share many of the same values. We both want to find something special, someone who understands us and supports us. I feel that we could build a strong emotional connection, and I look forward to continuing this journey with you.

Hi my dear Stewart,
I always love answering your questions, and I truly have feelings for you. But I believe that for those feelings to grow, we need to communicate more, do you understand? I would love to meet you one day!
It was so wonderful to receive your letter. I feel like I’ve known you for a long time, even though our correspondence has only just begun. Your thoughts resonate with me, and I hope that we can become great friends, or even more, in the future.
I’ve been thinking a lot about my life, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’d like to move to another country. There are a few reasons for this. First, I’m looking for stability. It’s very hard to achieve that here in Russia, due to the difficult economic situation. I’m thinking about my future, and I want to provide a better life for my future children, with stability and security.
Secondly, I’m looking for my soul mate—the person I can trust completely, someone who will be by my side, love me, and take care of me. The men here in Russia often have bad habits, like drinking too much, and I’ve experienced that firsthand with my father. I don’t want to go through that again.
I believe in building a strong family based on emotional connection, trust, and love. These things are the most important to me. I want to feel safe, loved, and cared for, and I want to give all my love and tenderness to the right person. At the moment, I don’t have someone special to share that with, but I’m hopeful that I will meet the right person someday—my only one.
I think about you a lot and look forward to hearing from you soon.
