Hi!

How was your day? I hope everything is going well for you. It’s always nice to receive your response—it shows that you truly care. By the way, you still haven’t sent me your picture! How can we continue if I haven’t even seen you? I hope you don’t mind sharing one with me.

I realize my past letters may not have answered all your questions, but I was simply trying to introduce myself. Opening up to someone new isn’t always easy, as I’m sure you understand. Today, I’d like to give you a better idea of who I am and what I believe in, so you can decide if you’re truly interested in getting to know me. Let’s try something different! I propose that we both share the things we love and dislike about the world. That way, we can better understand each other’s views and expectations. I hope you’re okay with this idea!

A little about me: I’m 168 cm tall, currently weigh 55 kg, and have a deep love for animals. However, I don’t have pets because my job keeps me busy, and I wouldn’t want them to feel neglected. I enjoy reading—mostly classic and academic literature. When it comes to movies, I love romantic comedies. My favorite color is green, and like many women, I adore flowers—especially lilies!

I grew up without my father; he left when I was a child, and my mother never told me why. Maybe he was weak, or maybe he found another woman and is happy now—I never asked. My mother passed away a few years ago due to cancer, which was one of the hardest times in my life. Since then, I’ve focused on my career, education, and self-development. To be honest, I’ve always dreamed of living and working in another country. But since I haven’t met a man worth changing my whole life for, I’m still in Kazakhstan.

I also have a strong opinion about modern social networks and messaging apps. I believe they are making people less thoughtful. Sending short, impersonal texts like "What’s up?" or "What are you doing?" feels empty to me. There’s no real interest or attention in that. I prefer well-thought-out, meaningful emails because they show respect and effort. When reading a letter, you can truly sense a person's intelligence and emotions. That’s why I don’t use smartphones for chatting—I refuse to become like those who rely on shallow, instant messages. This is my firm belief, and I won’t change it. I ask that you respect my decision, as I won’t discuss this again.

Like any woman, I dream of having a family and children one day. I believe relationships require effort and compromise from both partners. To me, a strong and happy family exists when there is balance. A man should be the head of the household—the one who provides security and support. When a woman feels safe with her man, she will stand by him no matter what and do everything to keep the family happy. She will be loyal, caring, and devoted.

A real woman treasures a man who puts in effort, who tries to solve problems, and who doesn’t give up easily. But the moment a man says, "I can’t" or "Figure it out yourself," it’s the beginning of the end. That’s where problems in relationships start. That’s when betrayal happens. It’s natural selection—just like in the wild. The moment a man shows weakness or indifference, he loses a woman’s admiration. And the same goes for women—when a woman forgets to be a wife, a mother, and a loving partner, a man loses interest in her and looks elsewhere.

Do you agree with me? Or do you have a different perspective? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I’d be very happy if you wrote to me every day. I will try to do the same. Even just 20–30 minutes a day to share your thoughts, talk about your day, or discuss something on your mind—it’s not too much, right?

I know this letter is quite long, but I hope you take the time to read it! I’m also really curious to hear your opinions about today’s world. What do relationships mean to you? What qualities do you dislike in a woman? How do you imagine a happy family and a healthy relationship?

I’ll be waiting for your reply!

Your new friend from Kazakhstan,

Marina Sabirova
