My name is Nicastro Bella, I’m 30 years old, and I’m from the beautiful city of Volgograd, United States. I adore animals, although I don’t have any at the moment.
I’m not looking for something casual; I’m hoping to find a genuine friendship and a serious relationship. I wasn’t raised in a typical family environment—my parents divorced when I was just four years old, and I spent most of my childhood with my grandmother in the village. She is my role model and someone I deeply admire.
While my mother worked hard and couldn’t always be there for me, I understand her better now and am grateful for everything she did. I work as a makeup artist in a beauty salon, helping brides, graduates, and others look their best on special occasions.

Hi Richard! I’m so glad to read your letter again. I’ve attached some pictures for you to see—one with my mom and little sister, and others from around my apartment.
I’d love to tell you more about myself today. I have a degree from Volgograd State Agrarian University, where I studied landscape design. As a landscape designer, I’m involved in beautifying gardens, parks, and other outdoor spaces. It’s a creative profession that blends artistry with technical skills. My professors believed I had a real talent for it, and they’ve even asked me to help with urban plant exhibitions and landscaping projects.
Unfortunately, I haven’t yet worked full-time in my field. Landscape design requires you to start your own business, and the pay is often unstable. So, I took an accelerated course to become a makeup artist and hairstylist. Now, I work in a beauty salon, helping women look beautiful for their special events.
My mother’s name is Nina, and she’s 48 years old. I also have a younger half-sister named Cibina, who’s 6. My mother and father divorced when I was 4, and she remarried 7 years ago. They live separately from me, and my sister lives with my mom and her new husband.

Hello, Richard! How are you today? I always enjoy reading your letters—they really brighten my day.
As I mentioned before, I live on my own in an apartment that I rent with a friend. It’s more affordable this way. I’ve been living apart from my family for 4 years now. The reason is my mother’s second marriage. I don’t get along with her new husband. He doesn’t work, and he’s very lazy. He drinks a lot, and unfortunately, he has been physically abusive toward my mom a few times. I’ve told her to leave him, but she insists that she loves him. I don’t understand why she stays in such a toxic relationship.
I can’t imagine being in a relationship like that, and it has made me wary of United Statesn men. It seems to me that many of them don’t know how to love truly and treat women with respect.
My first serious relationship began in high school with a boy I had known for many years. Our friendship blossomed into love, and we had a good relationship for a time. However, after he moved to St. Petersburg for university, we lost touch, and I believe he found someone else. It hurt, but it also made me lose trust in men from my country.
That’s one of the reasons I’m interested in talking to someone from another country, though I know we face challenges like language barriers and distance.
