Romina is a con artist hiding behind the guise of a “sustainability entrepreneur.” Her so-called startup, FoodWare To Go, is nothing more than a pathetic front for scamming grant money and inflating her ego. The business model? She charges people $12 to return their cheap plastic containers and tin bowls (that look similar to dog bowls) to restaurants, cafes, and college cafeterias. In a world where families and students are struggling, she’s pushing this useless nonsense. Her entire company is built on lies. She tricked UC Berkeley into handing over a $40k grant for her joke of an app, only to drop out right after pocketing the cash. Since then, Romina has been on a grant and clout-chasing spree, targeting every pandering Latina or female-focused grant out there. She’s pulled in smaller sums from various sources, including PepsiCo, which she uses mostly for personal expenses and travel. She also signs up for pointless speaking engagements and trade shows to get comped trips and inflate her fraudulent image and relevance, showing off on Instagram and LinkedIn as if she’s accomplished something. Romina also romance-scammed an Eastern European sex tourist in San Francisco and held him in a chokehold for years. She conned him into her business because she needed someone to create the app and do the technical work she couldn’t handle. Ignas, stuck under her manipulative grip, did all the hard work—building the app and handling the technical aspects—while she took all the credit. Her puppet, Ignas Bolsakovas, holds the title of “business developer” but has done nothing but run errands for Romina while she strings him along. He built the app, does the grunt work, and gets nothing out of it except being Romina’s lapdog. Both Romina and Ignas are freeloaders, scammers, users, and abusers, feeding off each other’s fraudulent schemes and exploiting every opportunity they get. Romina’s list of fake partnerships with restaurants and vendors is just another part of her scam. She pretends these businesses are aligned with FoodWare To Go, but in reality, they either never worked with her or quickly distanced themselves after seeing the truth. FoodWare To Go is a sham. Romina and Ignas are manipulative fraudsters, using the “sustainability” banner as a cover to con money and boost their public image, compensating for their failed attempts at success. Her startup is just an excuse to funnel grant money into her pockets, travel for free, clout chase, and get selfies with CEOs that are actually relevant and profitable. Meanwhile, her social media feeds paint a false picture of success. It’s nothing but a charade designed to fool everyone around her. Avoid her at all costs.
