Today, I’ve been feeling a little sad and lonely. I’ve been thinking a lot about our correspondence and the bond we are building. You’re becoming like a drug for me (I hope you understand what I mean). I wait all day for your letter, and it’s hard knowing our communication is limited. I’m not sure how long we’ve been writing to each other, but it feels like I’ve known you for ages. Sometimes I think you can read my thoughts, like you can see straight into my mind. Day by day, you’re becoming closer to me.
Do you know the song "Closer" by Ne-Yo? I feel like it’s a song about us—it’s been a while since it was popular, but it perfectly fits our connection. I’m not sure I can find the right words to express how much I care about you and how much I need you, but please always remember this.
There’s nothing new in my life, the same routine every day. But now that I’ve met you, everything seems so much duller. It feels like I’ve been living in a little box, and you have the power to help me open it.
