Tomorrow, I plan to visit the tourist office to find out more about the details of my trip to see you. I’m not sure how much the journey will cost or how difficult it will be to arrange all the necessary documents, but I’m starting to get excited about it! Hello my beloved Eddy! I don’t even know where to start. I promised you that I would come and that all our dreams would come true. YES, I want to be with you, and I’m determined to make those dreams a reality. But now, things have become a bit more complicated. I went to the tourist office today to find out all the details about my trip to see you and the documents I need. On one hand, I’m relieved to know it’s not as difficult as I feared... but on the other hand, I’m feeling a bit down.
To cover all the expenses for my trip—documents, insurance, and tickets—I will need 1360 USD. I calculated everything based on the exchange rate of Kazakhstan’s National Bank, and unfortunately, that’s a lot more than I expected.
I had hoped the trip would be more affordable, but when I saw the total cost, I was shocked. I’m sending you this letter, and I’ll be waiting for your response. If the costs are too much for you, I’ll completely understand. Sometimes we just have to accept that we can’t do everything we wish for.
But no matter what, we can still remain good friends. I really don’t want to ask for help, but I feel helpless right now. I understand this may be embarrassing, but I don’t want to lose the chance for us to meet.
However, right now, I simply don’t have enough to pay for the trip on my own. My salary is only 235 USD a month, plus a vacation bonus of 115 USD, and I have some small savings of about 200 USD.
But even with all of that, I still won’t have enough to cover my flight. I’m not sure what to wish for now—whether I want tomorrow to come faster so I can get an answer, or if I’d rather it never come. I just don’t know. I’ll be waiting for your response, hoping for a solution.
