Letter 1
Hello my dear Eddy! I’m so happy to read your letter again. I’m thrilled that you’ll be able to meet me during my vacation—it truly means a lot to me. If I can manage to arrange more time off with my boss, I would be even happier. I don’t want to miss a single day that I could spend with you. Every day, it feels like we’re getting closer and closer.
When we talk about the details of our meeting, it no longer feels like a dream... and that makes me feel so happy and excited! Eddy, I hope you don’t mind if I ask you a few more questions. I just need to clarify some things for my trip, okay? Which airport would be best for me to arrive at so that it's most convenient for you to meet me? Will I stay at your house, or should I book a hotel? What things should I pack first for the trip?
And there are a few things I’m also curious about: Have you told anyone about me and that I’ll be staying with you? How did they react? Could you please send me your full name, phone number, and address? I’d like to give that information to my mom, as she’s a little worried about my trip. That way, she won’t be too concerned. I’m eagerly awaiting your reply. It’s really important to me to have answers to these questions.

Letter 2
Hello my dear Eddy! It’s such a joy to receive your letter. I’ve been thinking about you a lot, and right now, all I can think about is how soon we’ll finally be together. Just the thought of it makes me so happy. Thank you for sending me all the information—I’ll be able to reassure my mom now.
Tomorrow, I plan to visit the tourist office to find out more about the details of my trip to see you. I’m not sure how much the journey will cost or how difficult it will be to arrange all the necessary documents, but I’m starting to get excited about it! Now, I have a very important question for you—probably the most important one of all.
I need you to give me a clear answer. Yes or no. I hope you understand how serious this is for me. Are you really ready for me to come and meet you? Are you prepared for our first meeting? This decision means a lot to me. I know it will take time and effort to make the trip happen, but I’m willing to do it.
Are you ready for this too? Please understand that our first meeting is crucial for our future together, and this is a very serious step. Right now, everything we feel is still just through letters, but in person, things could be very different. But I’m confident in my feelings for you, and I won’t change my mind. What’s most important now is your decision. Please, give me your final answer.
If you tell me "no" before I leave, I will be very hurt. I hope you understand. In my dream, I imagine stepping off the plane and seeing you there, holding flowers for me. You give me the bouquet, and we embrace in a passionate kiss. We go to your home, and I cook a romantic dinner for us.
We enjoy a light meal with soft music playing, lost in the moment, sharing our feelings. We dance, and the night leads us to the bedroom, where our love and passion bring us closer than ever. This is the vision I have for us, and I truly want to make it real.
Only yours, forever,
Sarah Vandella
Letter 3
Hello my beloved Eddy! I don’t even know where to start. I promised you that I would come and that all our dreams would come true. YES, I want to be with you, and I’m determined to make those dreams a reality. But now, things have become a bit more complicated. I went to the tourist office today to find out all the details about my trip to see you and the documents I need. On one hand, I’m relieved to know it’s not as difficult as I feared... but on the other hand, I’m feeling a bit down.
To cover all the expenses for my trip—documents, insurance, and tickets—I will need 1360 USD. I calculated everything based on the exchange rate of Kazakhstan’s National Bank, and unfortunately, that’s a lot more than I expected.
I had hoped the trip would be more affordable, but when I saw the total cost, I was shocked. I’m sending you this letter, and I’ll be waiting for your response. If the costs are too much for you, I’ll completely understand. Sometimes we just have to accept that we can’t do everything we wish for.
But no matter what, we can still remain good friends. I really don’t want to ask for help, but I feel helpless right now. I understand this may be embarrassing, but I don’t want to lose the chance for us to meet.
However, right now, I simply don’t have enough to pay for the trip on my own. My salary is only 235 USD a month, plus a vacation bonus of 115 USD, and I have some small savings of about 200 USD.
But even with all of that, I still won’t have enough to cover my flight. I’m not sure what to wish for now—whether I want tomorrow to come faster so I can get an answer, or if I’d rather it never come. I just don’t know. I’ll be waiting for your response, hoping for a solution.
Yours, always,
Sarah Vandella
