She contacted me through friend finder using an account saying she lived in New York State. I had been writing to other Russian women and guessed she was from the former Soviet Union. In the third letter I sent her, I told her that I was engaged to another woman. I thanked her for considering me for a serious relationship, but I figured she should save her money and not waist it nor her time in pursuing me. This woman continued sending letters as if I had never mentioned my engagement. Less than two weeks later she wants $440 to get a visa in 8-12 days and another $50 to have it done expressly within 5-7 days. She abrutly stopped writing and I haven't heard from her since. Having read over other men's scamming letters they received then rereading hers. I think she may fall into the scammers category. Luckily, I was not a scamee.
