Scam Report:Ken Smith contacted me through a female friend who was on Match.com. She said that he saw my profile on Match and liked me, so she wanted to see if I would email him to start talking. I thought it was innocent enough and so I did. He gave me his phone number and then the correspondence and phone calls started. He told me he was 50 years old and had an 8 year old daughter named Zara. He said his wife cheated on him after 18 years and that he had been divorced for 5 years. Later he told me that his wife had dies of cancer five years ago. He told me I was his everything and that he would come to Arizona and relocate. He said he is a Chemical Engineer. Later he said he had won a contract in the UK. He went to Cape Town South Africa and part of his luggage had been lost and he asked me to buy him a new Apple Laptop so he could do the presentation for his work so he could hurry home to come see me. Our communication has lasted four weeks. That was where I knew something was wrong. As soon as I said I couldn't help him he said I ruined our love and that I failed him. I considered doing it and then he gave me an address to have stuff shipped to.
