Kobi Alexander

Kobi Alexander is an Israeli-American convicted fraudster and the former CEO and Founder of Comverse Technology. “Comverse technologies provided value added services to telecommunication services in which Alexander added his own funds by fraudulent acts”. He was accused for wire fraud, bank fraud, and securities fraud and for showcasing of fraudulent account books in the year 2006.

He thought of escaping the trial by fleeing the country but was later captured by the bureau. He was trialed in Namibia where he got caught. He was a well known philanthropist in Namibia and so the case against him went for years. He planned brilliantly to evict his convictions by filing a lawsuit against Comverse technology stating that it has failed to pay his bonuses and commissions of $72 million but eventually his plans went down when he asked to change the judiciary for his case. H“e was sentenced to 5 years of extradition from Namibia and two and a half years of prison sentence in America in 2018 with restitution taxes to pay to his investors”.
