William Aramony

William Aramony is a shameless fraudster who misused his president position of the United Way charity to make his life luxurious. “He changed the financial statements and records of the charity's treasure to swindle the money. Investigation on him started in the early 1990s with a tip from a letter without a letter head; which stated Aramony's luxurious vacations with his teenage girlfriend”.

The investigation exposed Aramony's affairs with the women employees of UWA and the luxuries he gave to them. He was prosecuted for mail fraud, wire fraud, accounting fraud and misuse of power with various testimonials against him in the year 1995. He was sentenced to 6 years in prison with restitution charges to the charity.
